Opening of the Laboratory of Music-Medieval Studies on April 3, 2024 was initiated by the Department of Musicology and Choral Art of the Faculty of Culture and Arts at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. It took place in the building on Oleksandr Fredr Street. The event was held with the participation of representatives of the University administration, teachers and students of the faculty, as well as all those interested in Ukrainian music-medieval research.
During the opening two recent monographs were presented: “Sacred Song in Ukraine” by Yuriy Medvedyk, and “Intellectual Context of Medieval Monody” by Nataliia Syrotynska
